He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Oetgen, Sr. and Muriel Nelson Oetgen; his grandparents, E. J., Katherine N. Oetgen, James and Elsie Nelson; and his brothers, Jimmy and Julian Oetgen.
He is survived by: his close friends, Ryan Wills and Steve Hulette; his sister-in-law Debbie Oetgen; his cousins, Rev. Gerald Norrington (Shirley), Caroline Lindner (Don), Jackie Harvey (Michael), Lori Sancomb (Bill), Gary Oetgen (Tracey), Eric Oetgen, Kelly Oetgen Jeffries, Johnny Woods (Sissy), David Burnett (Maureen), Richard Burnett and Susan Burnett; and his aunt Sydney Oetgen. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes, West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery (1600 Wheaton St, Savannah, GA 31404).
