She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Gray; her husband Bill Newton; her stepdaughter Tammy Newton; and her brothers, C. B. Gray and Raleigh Gray.
She is survived by: her niece Lisa; her sister Dorothy Norton (Bill) of Blue Ridge; her sister-in-law Joanne Gray of Mineral Bluff; her stepson William Newton (Shawn) of Suwanee; and her stepgrandsons, Brandon Newton, Matthew Dillard and Brett Dillard.
