He is survived by: his wife Cathy Smith Whitehead; his children, Shane Whitehead (Wendy), Leslie Whitehead and Lee Whitehead (Megan); his sister Peggy Whitehead Dire of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Antonio, Helen, Javie, Cathy Grace, Lacy Lee, Molly, Abby and Brody.
