Olan Miller Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Olan Miller (Watkinsville, Georgia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Olan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Olan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Drinkard Miller of Lowe's Building Supply; his parents, Carl James Miller and Martha Catherine Falls Miller; his siblings, Carolyn Ely (Bob) of Winston-Salem, NC, Rachel Howell (Jack) of Kings Mountain, NC and Roger Miller (Helen) of Lexington, SC; his sister-in-law Gay Miller of Nebo, NC.; and his brother Marion Miller. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30677). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prince Avenue Baptist Church (3691 Monroe Hwy, Bogart, GA 30622).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Olan's memory to the Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief or to Prince Avenue Baptist Church's General Fund to benefit the Preschool and Children's Ministry.
