She was predeceased by: her parents, Collier B. Nix and Ruby Chandler Nix; her former husband Ed Christian; and her daughter Lisa Clark. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Robert Whitehead; and her daughter Debbie Freeman. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and other family and friends.
