It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Whirley (Bogart, Georgia), born in Corinth, Mississippi, who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Burlene; and his grandmother Lydia. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter April; his son-in-law Kip; his son Richard; his daughter-in-law Amanda; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Lydia, Anne Marie, Hudson and Maria.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lydia's Place, a non-profit that was started by Rick's daughter, April, and named after his grandmother, Lydia.
