It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald A. Helwig of Bogart, Georgia, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Helwig and Emma Mellinger Helwig; his wife Juanita Irene Jersey Helwig; and his sister Rogene Helwig Lockwood. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Helwig (Angela), Dave Helwig and Mark Helwig (Debra). He is also survived by six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville, GA with a designation for the Sanctuary Choir or the Youth Sunday School Department.
