He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Saylors and Mamie Owens Saylors; his great grandchild Lauren Saylors; and his siblings, Ray Saylors and Juanita Dowell.
He is survived by: his wife Katrenia Pickens Saylors; his children, Gail Leopard (Roger) and Jerry Saylors Jr. (Yvonne) of Bowersville; and his grandchildren, Angela Scoggins (Shane), Jenny Turner (Shane), Jason Saylors (Robin), Elizabeth Campbell (Jeff), Julie Saylors (Ronda), Justin Saylors (Tonya) and Pamela Peace Jamie (Brandon). He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.
