She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie W. Haynie and Carrie Marett Haynie; her husband Frank Kennon Gurley; and her siblings, James Walter Haynie and Dorothy Ballard.
She is survived by: her sisters, Evelyn White of Hartwell and Mary Dushin of Anderson, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Lottie Haynie of Anderson, SC, Shirley Green of Bowersville and Helen Terry of Clemson, SC. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
