He was predeceased by: his father Franklin Russell "Billy" Peppers. He is survived by: his mother Elzonia Gazaway Willis of Bremen; his children, Billy Peppers, Jr., Melinda Peppers and Nicholas Smith; his sisters, Carol Higgins (David) and Kay McCain; and his grandchildren, Christian Aleck Peppers, Kameron Avery Peppers and Nicholas Smith, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
