It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nathan Wesley Forrister of Bremen, Georgia, born in Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, J. Coleman Forrister and Liddell Forrister (Evans); and his siblings, James Coleman Forrister, Jr., Edward Darrell Forrister, Mae Dell Stephens, Mary Ellen Brown, Molinda Jeanette "Lynn" Ingram and Mollie Liddell Forrister.
He is survived by : his wife Gwendolyn Forrister (Burnette) of Bremen; his son Nathan W. Forrister, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Tammy Forrister of Bremen; his daughter Naomi; his son-in-law Michael Moore of Bremen; his sister Texieann Broadway of Cedartown; and his grandchildren, Amanda Beaver (Jessie), Anne Forrister (Chris Massey), Justin Moore (Angela), James Moore (Chelsie) and Joseph Moore (Shannon). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home. The lying in state was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cedartown Church of God. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
