It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Phillips DeVane of Brooks, Georgia, born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her father William Edward Phillips of Brooks; her sister Brenda Dianne Clay of Griffin; her pet Laynee; her husband Larry James DeVane of Eastman; her children, Crystal Madaris and Travis DeVane of Unadilla; her mother Melba Grace Phillips of Brooks; and her sister Lisa Amey of Griffin. She was also cherished by Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
