He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Minshew and Martha Griffin Minshew; his wife Joann Hulett Minshew; his son Trenton Minshew; and his siblings, Mayebelle Pittman, Jimmie Ziegler and John Minshew.
He is survived by: his children, Brent Minshew (Davies) of Broxton, GA and Jody DeWeese Tapp (Gordon) of Ocilla, GA; his grandchildren, Cole Minshew of Douglas, GA, Cameron Minshew of Pridgen, GA and Emilee Dovers of Pridgen, GA; and his brothers, Eugene Minshew of Macclenny, FL and Charlie Minshew of Pridgen, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
