He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Maynard and Alberta Layne Maynard; his son Erick Scott Maynard; and his brother Johnny Paul Maynard. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Lairsey Maynard of Broxton, GA; and his children, John Anthony Maynard (Janet), Mark Eugene Maynard, JoAnna Newcomb (David), Raine Maynard, Tony Harrell (Sue), Sonya LaRocque and Kimberly Burrier (Jeffrey) of Alma, GA.. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren A host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
