She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Sapp and Rosa Mae Brigmond Sapp; her daughter Beverly Harper; and her grandchildren, Brandi Harper and Lucian Harper.
She is survived by: her children, Anelle Stanfield of Douglas, GA, Connie Carter of Douglas, GA and Howard Carter Jr. (Debbie) of Douglas, GA; her grandchildren, Chris Stanfield (Crystal), Blake Stanfield (Taylor), Cody Carter (Ashlyn) and Megan Carter; her great grandchildren, Raylyn Griffin, Mallory Cribb, Kegan Litner, Harper Litner, Courtney Jowers, Drew Jowers (Shannon) and Christian Stanfield; and her brother Roy Sapp (Gloria). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
