Mildred Dockery Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2020, at the age of 91, Mildred Dockery of Broxton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pridgen and Bessie Kight Pridgen; her husband J. B. Dockery, Jr.; her sisters, Lorene Brigmond, Nell McCallum and Louise McKinnon; and her great grandchild Lauren Alexis Aldridge.
She is survived by: her siblings, J. M. Pridgen and Martha Jean Meeks; her children, P. L. Dockery (Barbara), John Harry Dockery and Myra Carver (J. W.); her grandchildren, Lisa Aldridge (Troy), Shelby Dockery, Shannon Davis (Mark), Henry Vaughn (Jeanie) and Zara Pritchard; her great grandchildren, Kayla Aldridge Taft (Devin), Jim Aldridge, Cameron Davis, Hannah McClelland, Frankie Vaughn, Daniel Vaughn, Hunter Pritchard (Melissa), Zane Pritchard and Madison Pritchard (Nick); and her great great grandchild Easton Cage Courson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Those attending are ask to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia Guideline concerning the coronavirus.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Childhood Cancer Awareness Group of Coffee County (CCAGCC), P. O. Box 1203, Douglas, GA 31534, for which the deceased held a special fondness.
