He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wood and Evelyn Johnson Wood; and his siblings, Jacquelyn Wood Baker, Evelyn Montine Knowles, Yvonne Johnson, Linda Bursack and Lynford Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Sara Wood of Willacoochee and Jared Wood of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Rev. Darrell Wood (Dee) of Valdosta, GA and Mary Lowe (Larry) of Toledo, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Joshua Cribb, Ashley McDaniel, Mako McDaniel and Saylor McDaniel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
