He is survived by: his children, James F. Ellison, Jr. (Katya) and Emily Ellison Strickland (Robby); his nieces and nephews, Jane Brown, Patricia Edmundson, Betty Ferrell, Linda Gilmer, Brenda Wiggins, Mark Ellison, Thomas Kaplan and Gary Williams; and his grandsons, Michael, Matthew Strickland, Benjamin and Nicholas Ellison.
