It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Simmons (Brunswick, Georgia), born in Alma, Georgia, who passed away on October 31, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie Beecher and Vonice Shadron Beecher; and her siblings, Wendell Beecher, Nella Beecher Harrington and Myrtle Beecher Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha, Cindy Simmons Smith (Tony) of Waynesville, Windee Simmons of Waynesville and Rhonda Simmons Carlson (Alvin) of Waynesville; her grandchildren, Toni Michelle Paradise (Clint), Tommy Smith (Sam), James Rogers (Shelina), Courtney Sapp Parsons, Chelsea Carter Vardin (Jeff) and Cheyenne Turner; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Graysen, Noah, Maddy, Leah, Lennox, Alyssa, Briar, Will, Sophia, Zoe Jane, Thomas, Addy and Myles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
