He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother William C. Johnson; his wife Rita Mae Taylor Johnson; his children, James A. Johnson of Blythe Island, GA, Darlene R. Wiggins, Denise Wendel, Donna Smith (Frederick) of Brunswick, Debbie S. Timmons of Nahunta, GA. and Diane Locklain (Andy) of Effingham, SC.; and his brother James C. Johnson of Orlando, FL.. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
