She was predeceased by: her husband James Oliver Highsmith Jr.; and her son James Oliver "Joe" Highsmith III. She is survived by: her sons, Calvin Holland Highsmith (Antonette) of Jackson, S. C. and John Aaron Highsmith (Elizabeth) of Waynesboro, GA; her grandchildren, Leslie Highsmith Hutton (Randall) of Waynesboro and John Daniel Highsmith of Waynesboro; and her great grandchild Ryan Livingston.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Michael's Episcopal Church.
