She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Underwood and Leola Screws Underwood; her husband Howard Moxley; her children, Danny Moxley and Cheryl Renee Moxley; and her granddaughter Christa Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Moxley (Judy) of Canton, GA and Sherry Grier (Ricky) of Buena Vista; her daughter-in-law Marilyn Moxley of Texas; her brother Larry Underwood (Lee) of Kennesaw, GA; and her grandchildren, Joshua Moxley (Jinger), Carrie Swafford (Jeremy), Katie Manley (Derrick), Brandon Grier (Laurie), Shane Grier (Kari), Alisha Harbuck (David), Cameron Moxley (Rachel) and Mandy Moxley (Morgan). She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Way-Watson Funeral Home (1052 Dr Deryl Hart Rd, Buena Vista, GA 31803). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oakland Church of God (5840 GA-41, Mauk, GA 31058).
