With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy W. McSweeny of Buena Vista, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2025 at the age of 70. In the vast expanse of eternity, Timothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Timothy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William McSweeny and Dorothy Black McSweeny. He is survived by: his wife Mary McSweeny; his daughter Cathleen Lona Berry; his siblings, Mike McSweeny, Patrick McSweeny and Cheryl McSweeny; his grandchildren, Desireé McSweeny, Dustin Franks, Destiny Berry and Brittney Berry; and his great grandchild Trey Ryland Franks.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown Springs Church of God (6245 GA-355, Box Springs, GA 31801). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
