She was predeceased by: her husband Billy R. Cain; her grandson Nicholas Cain; her parents, James David "Boss" Nichols and Bertha E. Frady Nichols; and her siblings, Hazel Marie Pillow, John Henry Nichols, Barbara A. Walker and Willene Elizabeth Hyatt.

She is survived by: her sons, Jon Randolph Cain of Chatsworth, GA, William David Cain (Melanie) of Flowery Branch, GA and Joseph Paul Cain of Buford, GA; her granddaughters, Stephanie Berl and Joanna Howell; and her siblings, Kitty Sue Dodd (Bob) of Boling Green, KY, Gloria Jean (Larry Corbin), Wanda Kay Smith (Terry) of Cumming, GA, James Ronald Nichols (Jean) of Buford, GA and Douglas Ray Nichols (Kim) of Buford, GA.. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
