It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Jennings Griffin of Buford, Georgia, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Richard "Sam" Griffin; her parents, Louie Jennings and Edna McLeod Jennings; her children, Nancy Griffin and Cale L. Griffin; and her brothers, Larry Jennings, Raymond Jennings and Wayne Jennings.
She is survived by: her sons, Melvin L. Griffin of Buford, GA, Danny R. Griffin (Ginger) of Sumter and Benny C. Griffin of Sumter; and her sister Annette Altman of Lake City. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
