He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Thomas and Mardell Dollar Clark; his son Steven Thomas; his siblings, Louise Beard and Charles Thomas; and his grandson Jacob Thomas.
He is survived by: his son Mike Thomas (Tonya) of Eastanollee, GA; his grandchildren, Felicia Martin (Kyle), Chastin Johnson (Kylee), Andrew Thomas, Megan Flowers (Marty Revis) and Stephen Goodson (Catherine "Cat"); his great grandchildren, Wesley Johnson, Tyler Santosuosso, Ivy Johnson, Colt Revis and Wyatt Revis; and his close friend Ricky Cole of Buford, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
