We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2021, Homer J. Whiting Jr. of Buford, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Samuel Shade Whiting; and his parents, Homer J. Whiting, Sr. and Blanche Puckett Whiting. He is survived by: his wife Billie Whiting of Buford; his uncle Troy Puckett of Albany, GA; and his brother-in-law Walter Smith (Joline).

The family is honoring Homer's wishes to be cremated and no service to be held; memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, in memory of Homer.
