It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Bennett Veal of Buford, Georgia, born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clyne C. Veal; her parents, Jim Bennett and Lynette Bennett; and her brother Jimmy Bennett. She is survived by: her sister Lugene Bagwell (Bradley) of Oakwood, GA; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Boggs (Veal) of Buford, GA, Peggy Veal of Oakwood, GA, Shirley Bennett of Gainesville, GA, Pat Veal of Buford, GA, Martha Ray (Jim) of Clearwater, FL and Betty Nesmith (Emory) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friendship Community Baptist Church in memory of Lorene Veal.
