He was predeceased by: his father James Deems. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Ann Deems of Dallas, GA; his siblings-in-law, Caroline, Tony Smith of Powder Springs, GA, Debra and Steve Collins; his brother Robert Deems; his sister-in-law Kathy Deems of Monroe, GA; and his aunt Kathryn Weaver of Rockmart, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
