She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Parten; her daughters, Martha Parten and Jewel Tacker; and her grandchildren, Jacqueline Parten, Paul Motes and Augustus Carrasquillo.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Woodruff (Donald), Brenda Greene (Harry), Daniel Parten (Darlene), Mark Parten (Dana Smith) and Johnny Parten (Monika); and her son-in-law Nelson Tacker. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; a host of many great-grandchildren.
