It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Sr. of Butler, Georgia, who passed away on August 8, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Allen Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Hayward Edwin Allen, Sr. and Jessie Heath Allen; his sisters, Barbara Broach and Emily Montgomery; and his brothers-in-law, Wilkes Broach and Harry Hicks.
He is survived by : his wife Maxine Lawhorn Allen of Butler; his children, Richard Heath Allen, Jr. (Ashleigh) of Valdosta and Jennifer Allen Edwards (Donald) of Smyrna; his siblings, Archie Eugene Allen (Elsie) of Butler, Edwin Allen (Betty) of Butler and Mary Ellen Hicks of Reynolds; his brother-in-law Billy Montgomery of Perry; and his grandchildren, Rustin Allen Edwards, Laurel Heath Edwards, Rhett Heath Allen and Reese Jesslyn Allen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
