She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardwick Avant and Catherine Avant Lee; her husband James Mimbs; her grandson Hunter Mimbs; and her brother Phillip Lee.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Mimbs (Amy) of Rentz, Jody Mimbs (Alana) of Monroe and Jason Mimbs (Merissa) of Cadwell; her grandchildren, Tori Mimbs of Rentz, Tyler Mimbs of Ankorage, Jayla Mimbs of Ankorage and Brantley Mimbs of Cadwell; and her brothers, Garry Batt of Arley, England and Terry Avant of St. Simons Island, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
