He is survived by : his wife Shirley Smith; his children, Stacey Ballard (Jim), Tracey Baker (Alex) and Laurie Barfield (Brad); his grandchildren, Taylor Ballard (Courtney), Alexandria Martin Johnson (Matthew), Tanner Barfield, Zachary Baker, McKenzie Barfield and Wyatt Baker; his great grandchildren, Harper Ballard and Ellie Ballard; his mother Lucille Smith; and his siblings, Sheila Mims (Bubba) and Michael Smith (Tammy). He is also survived by step-children, step grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
