With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lovetta Stephens (Cairo, Georgia), who passed away on April 29, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Eva Mae Myles, Earlene Stephens, Ethel Boyd, Zema Hampton Jr. and Edward Hampton.
She is survived by: her spouse J. D. Stephens; her daughters, Hazel Stephens McFadden of Warner Robins, Verleca Stephens Lalor (Sterling), Marilyn Stephens Harris of Atlanta, Zena Stephens Howard (Benjamin) of New Mexico and Stephanie Diane Stephens of Atlanta; and her siblings, Louise Williams Bishop, Barbara Jones, Edna Hampton of Philadelphia, Bertha Fisher (Bernard) of Wilmington and Jerry Hampton (Angela) of Cairo, GA.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
