It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Eugene Willis Jr. of Cairo, Georgia, born in Bainbridge, Georgia, who passed away on June 15, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Willis and Laverne Willis; and his siblings, David Rowan, Mary Ann Boyd, Nancy Nutting and Jody Logue.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Cynthia Kay Rich; his wife Cynthia Kay Willis; his children, Gene (Tammy Willis), Josh Willis (Katie Holcombe), Shannon (Darren Smeathers) and Jeremy Davis of Cairo, GA; his siblings, Carolyn Lane of Bainbridge, GA, Janie Glass of Bainbridge, GA, Sandra Moore of Bainbridge, GA and Johnny Willis of Tallahassee, FL; and his grandchildren, Shelby, Gena, Riley, Ramzi, Bryce, Meredith, Maddie, Caden and Brooklyn.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private memorial service will be held with Rev. David Grubbs officiating.
