With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl Ausburn (Cairo, Georgia), born in Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on December 20, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Stamps and Mamie Doyle Jones Stamps; her siblings, Mamie Elizabeth Stamps Crozier, Ruby Ernestine Stamps Meile and John Henry Stamps; her son-in-law Sammy Ward; and her son Benjamin Luther Ausburn.
She is survived by: her husband Luther William Ausburn of Reno; her children, Barbara Sue Edwards (Mervin) of Reno, Sarah Ward of Monticello, Georgia and James Ausburn (Bobbie) of Cairo; her grandchildren, Derek Edwards, Angela Barrineau, Sam Ward, Shannon Ward (Tabitha), Shane Ward (Tina), Suzanne Ward (John Smith), Laura Burgess (Charles) and Joshua Ausburn (Tammi); and her sisters, Henrietta Sutera (Louis) of Inman, Oretha Shafer (Paul) of Greensboro, Georgia and Merle Golz. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
