It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Lee Monk of Cairo, Georgia, born in Camilla, Georgia, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ethaniel Monk and Josephine Joiner Monk; his children, Joseph Linnell Thursby (Joey) and Cecilia Nicole Brooks (CC); and his brother E. J. Monk.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Dianne Monk; his grandchildren, Courtney, Cody, McKinsey and Paige; his great grandchildren, Brandon Lee Sadler and Cecilia Jane Sadler; and his brothers, Mark Monk of Thomasville, Rayford Monk of Florida, Tim Monk of Cairo, Scott Monk of Cairo and Donnie Monk of Cairo.
