He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marion, Thelma Gilliard, Cecil and Mattie Eaton; and his father-in-law Jerry Thomas.
He is survived by: his parents, Kermit Virgil and Peggy Lois Eaton Gilliard of Cairo; his spouse Kim Bishop Gilliard of Cairo; his daughters, Lauren and Erin Gilliard of Cairo; his brother Kermit Gilliard (Cristie) of Cairo; his sibling's children, Anna Gilliard and Owen Gilliard of Cairo; his parents-in-law, Cary, Charlene Bishop of Cairo and Suzanne Thomas of Cairo; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnna Thomas of Cairo, Barry, Mia Bishop of Cairo and Nick Bishop of Cairo. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
