He is survived by: his mother Rosa Ellen Fairman Whitmer; his wife Melissa Dalton Peeler; his children, Heather Bennett, Joshua Peeler of Resaca, Georgia and Josheph Peeler of Resaca, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jeremy Peeler and Corie Bennett; his siblings, Bonnie Bennett of Plainville, Melissa Peeler, Dennis Peeler of Athens and Daniel Peeler of Ranger, Georgia; his stepbrother James Whitmer; and his close friends, Steve, Tracy Edwards of Resaca, Phillip, Gloria Carroll of Sugar Valley, Blane Lusk of Resaca, Todd Sinnott of Ellijay, Ann Dooley of Resaca and Barbara Pinion of Calhoun. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
