He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mauldin and Ruth Mauldin Holcomb; and his son George Kenneth Mauldin. He is survived by: his fiancée Cindy Edge Pass; his children, Laurence Henry "Hank" Mauldin (Janna) of Calhoun, GA and Robin Mauldin Montgomery (Justin) of Spartanburg, SC; his siblings, Lucia Mauldin Eastham (Gary) of Calhoun, GA and Kemp Mauldin of Calhoun, GA; and his siblings' children, Daniel Kemp Mauldin (Sara) of Canton and Mary Mauldin of New Orleans. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
