He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Foister and Bessie Harrell Foister. He is survived by: his wife Betty Singleton Foister; his children, Pam Dean (Kerry), Cindy Foister and Scott Foister (Kim); his brother Robert A. "Bobby" Foister; his grandchildren, Josh Dean, Nikki Burch (Bryan), Ashley Burtt (Ryan) and Tyler Foister (Caroline); and his great grandchildren, Dean Burch, Avey Burch, Anna Kate Burtt and Patrick Burtt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 5008 Vada Rd., Climax, GA 39834.
