He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Stubbings and Pauline Stubbings; and his brother Melvin Stubbings of McAlester, OK.. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Stubbings of Cary, NC; his children, Melanie Lay (Michael) of Apex, NC and Jonathan Stubbings (Amanda) of Marietta, GA; his grandchildren, Natalie Lay, Ashlynn Lay and Mikayla Lay of Apex, NC; and his brother Wayne Stubbings of Skiatook, OK..
