It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allman Hogsed in Canton, Georgia, born in Plains, Georgia, who passed away on October 4, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Carmen Francis Hogsed, Sr. and Martha Jackson Hogsed; his sons, George Allman Hogsed and James Edward Hogsed; his son-in-law Ralph Glenn Horne; and his brother Carmen Francis Hogsed, Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Myra Knight Hogsed; his daughters, Wanda Horne of Savannah and Vickie Smith; and his son-in-law Mike Smith of Dunwoody, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, between the hours of 6:00 & 8:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S.
