He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Cowart and Blanche Cowart; his sister Ruth Cowart; and his sister-in-law Connie Cowart. He is survived by : his wife Cynthia Pauline Cowart; his brother Donald Kenneth Cowart Senior; his children, Cynthia Slaton, Nancy Cheek (David Cheek), Jessica Warren and Jason Cowart; his grandchildren, Joshua Moore, Elijah Moore, Chaeli Warren, Heidi Cowart, Harper Cowart, Jonathan Cheek, Holly Cheek and Hollynd Cowart; and his great grandchild Jaxon Moore.
