He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gilleland and Lavada Burdine Gilleland; and his son Lee Gilleland. He is survived by: his significant other Ernestine Welch Gilleland; his children, Scott Gilleland (David) and Lynn Hudgins; his granddaughter Kaylee Hudgins; and his sister Bertice Muddiman. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
