He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Holmes and Helen Holmes; and his sister Ginger Woodham. He is survived by: his wife Lucretia Holmes; his daughter Gail; his son-in-law Carl Burkhalter; his brother Wallace; his sister-in-law Kim Holmes; his sister Samantha Butler; his grandchildren, Eric and Jennie Burkhalter; and his great grandchildren, Adley Chamness and Asher Burkhalter. He is also survived by Several Nieces & Nephews.
