He is survived by: his wife Lois Pendery Forbes; his daughters, Vicki F. Carlton Canton (Dick), Leslie F. Gurley (Bryan) of Marietta Ga and Pendery F Lites (Ram Mendez); his grandchildren, Matthew Forbes Carlton, Courtney G. Cheaves (Jared), Erin Louise Knowles and Logan William Knowles; and his great grandchild McKenzie Lee Cheaves.
