She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elmer Wildes and Dora "Peg" Pruitt Wildes. She is survived by: her husband Barry Michael Compton; her children, Ashley McGouirk (Richard) of McDonough, Anthony Sealey (Audrey) of Murfreesboro, Anne Symbas (John) of Atlanta and Catherine Wedge (Rob) of Athens, Georgia; her grandsons, Brayden McGouirk and Peter Symbas; her sister Beth Dow (Mayor Phillip) of Lone Oak, Georgia; and her uncle Mac Wildes (Cindy) of Port St. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and her spoiled furbaby.
