He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel D. Hillhouse and Lucy Gunter Hillhouse; and his sisters, Mary Sampler (Joe), Dorothy Hillhouse and Teri Hillhouse Mullinax.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn England Hillhouse; his sons, Nathan Hillhouse (Katie) and Jason Hillhouse; his grandchildren, Clay, Mackena, Aubree and Stella; and his siblings, Joann Martin (Bennon), Judy Frady (Neil), Wanda Holcomb (Jimmy), Deborah Knight (Johnny), Penny Vaughn (Stan), Stacy Carter, Ronald Hillhouse (Opal), Doug Hillhouse and David Hillhouse (Angie).
