She is survived by: her children, James P. Pickens (Ruby), John Willie Threat and Clarence Threat; her brother Gus Lee Pickens; and her sisters-in-law, Marie Oliver and Mary Threat. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
